Ways to Give
In this time when we are called to refrain from physically gathering at our churches for worship, it is important to remember that God continues to call us to be in relationship and to give. Giving reminds us that we are not alone. It reminds us that we are part of a community that needs our gifts and offerings. You have the opportunity to provide consistent financial stewardship for your congregation in several ways, even though we cannot be physically present with one another. Here are a few options
Mail still works, and you can send a check. We have a locking mailbox, so it is relatively safe.
Electronic Giving through the Diocese. For the next several weeks you can give electronically. Please put St. James the Less in the Memo line. http://bit.ly/DOVChurch

- There have been updates on charitable giving due to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act. This will affect giving this year. Things like new charitable deductions for taxpayers who do not itemize and no cap on charitable donations for those who do itemize have been included.
