Every Thursday during the school year  volunteers from our church meet at The Supply Room Co. and pack approximately 300 bags for children in our school district. These are distributed to  students who qualify for this service. Each bag contains food for two days to meet their nutritional needs during the weekend. The groceries are purchased from various merchants and funded by private donations. This past year Cub Scout Pack 799 raised enough money to purchase 10,000 boxes of cereal which they donated to the backpack program!
